What is included in a Workbench seat?
A seat includes Calliope AI Workbench: AI IDE, AI Lab, Chat Studio, Deep Agent, data and workspace tools, SSO, RBAC, and workspace access records. The selected BYOC or managed deployment determines where the Workbench runs.
Are Astrolift AI and Zentinelle AI included?
No. Astrolift AI runtime and Zentinelle AI governance are independent products, not hidden Workbench entitlements. Their cores are MIT-licensed and may be self-hosted. Support, implementation, and engineering services are scoped separately.
If the operating cores are open source, why pay?
Calliope AI Workbench is a commercial product. Customers also pay for supported deployment, implementation, upgrades, security-review support, and accountable engineering around the open-core operating layers. Are model tokens included in the price?
No. You bring credentials for approved model endpoints, with no Calliope AI markup on token charges. Managed deployments may offer metered token packs as an add-on.
What does BYOC mean?
Bring Your Own Cloud. Calliope AI Workbench and its workloads run in your AWS account and VPC. In BYOC, Calliope Labs Inc does not receive or proxy your prompts, code, model responses, or provider credentials. Review the data flow →
Can we self-serve or work with an engineer?
Both. Technical teams can purchase BYOC through checkout and provision the baseline. Assisted onboarding adds an engineer for identity, networking, model access, validation, and security review. Custom deployments are always scoped with the customer.
What is the minimum commitment?
BYOC and managed Workbench plans have a 10-seat minimum. Annual and monthly billing options are shown in the calculator. Custom deployment terms are scoped separately.
Do you support on-premises or air-gapped deployment?
Those topologies are scoped to the customer's environment. They require an architecture conversation and should not be treated as the same self-service path as AWS BYOC.
